Prayer

The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

JAMES 5:16

According to James 5:13-18, we believe fervent, heart-felt prayer is key to leading people to Christ and essential to what we do as a Church. Prayer is the foundation of everything that we do at Christian Faith Fellowship Church.

OUR STRATEGY

Our strategy for prayer is simple and profound at the same time. We simply believe God and we believe what He says and because we do, we pray (talk) to Him everyday with great anticipation and expectation. Simply put, God answers prayer because it is not a formula or a series of steps but rather a loving expression of communication of His people to Him and Him back to His people.

Therefore our prayer strategy is found rooted deeply in the founding scripture our founders, Bishop Darrell L. & Pastor Pamela M. Hines, that was used to start Christian Faith Fellowship Church Milwaukee:

“These things I have written unto you that you believe on the name of the Son of God: that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. And this is the confidence that we have in Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He heareth us: and if we know that He hears us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of Him.”

1 John 5:13-15

Consequently, everything we do is saturated in prayer. Prayer is not about getting ‘our will’ done but rather God getting ‘His will’ done through us.
