Because I have set my heart on the house of my God, I have given to the house of my God, over and above all that I have prepared for the holy house…Who among you is ready and willing to join in the giving?”
Once a year we bring a special offering, an Ultimate Gift, that requires sacrifice and a focus to put God first in our finances during a time of the year that is screaming for our finances to go elsewhere. This offering positions our church to take a giant leap forward in fulfilling the big opportunities God has placed before us.
This year’s Ultimate Gift will be received the last Sunday before Christmas on Sunday, December 20th at our 10:00am celebration.
The Ultimate Gift focuses on areas that impact local, national and international missions.
The purpose of Mission Harvest is to first address the natural need of hunger in our community as we address their spiritual hunger. This key initiative was birthed out of the heart of Pastor Jason and is facilitated through our partnership with Feed America.
If you know Pastor Jason, you know he is a food connoisseur who enjoys a great dining experience. But he remembers being raised by a single mom who always did her best to put food on the table but there were times when he and his sister’s dinner consisted of a block of government cheese and powered milk. Pastor Jason is committed to doing whatever he can to help families put food on the table so that no child goes to bed hungry.
Local & National
Sex Trafficking is a serious issue of our generation and requires the voice and action of the church to eradicate it. To this end we are dedicated to increasing awareness, through education, on how to identify the signs of enticement so that not another young person would be tricked and trapped by this industry. On the other end of this issue we are also committed to helping people escape this horror and live the life that God intended them to live.
But our scope is not limited to sex trafficking but also includes those who find themselves in the sex industry (prostitution, pornography, etc.) who no longer desire to live that life but want to be free. Our mission to them is the same.
Our strategy to reach our nation has been simple—build the local church. Every time we give, a portion of it goes to start new churches all across the nation. Over the past 3 years, you have invested in 3 new church launches all across America. This year we will accelerate that process by partnering with ARC and GROW. GROW is a ministry that was created to train and resource smaller churches. ARC was created to strategically and intentionally help plant churches across the world. A portion of the Legacy offering will be invested into these ministries that are impacting the world by supporting pastors and churches.
At Christian Faith Fellowship Church it is our personal goal to help plant 100 churches through our partnership with Arc and to personally plant a minimum of 10 campus churches by 2020.
We are passionate about supporting ministries that send and support missionaries in the states and abroad. Through our strategic partnerships, we have the opportunity to raise up more leaders and plant more churches in the most critical places on earth—the Middle East, Afghanistan, Iran and China, to name a few. This investment touches the heart of our loving God (John 3:16) and responds to the cry of Jesus to “go into all the world” (Matthew 28:19).
